Linear tensioners maintain tension in drive systems with chains that move over longer distances. They bolt to equipment in a straight-line take-up configuration. These tensioners do not use an attached sprocket and require less space.
Linear Chain Tensioners
These linear tensioners have a durable UHMW (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) head that engages with a compatible chain number and does not require lubrication. A built-in spring absorbs momentary overload and vibration to reduce wear on the chain.
