Vacuum generators use compressed air to convert air pressure into vacuum. They connect at or near the point of use to generate the suction needed for vacuum pads to attach to workpieces in material handling applications. Also referred to as vacuum ejectors, these devices are often used in systems without a vacuum pump.

They have a digital display with an operating keyboard to show vacuum parameters, and IO-Link functionality to monitor and access process data. These generators are used for applications in sheet metal processing, packaging, automotive, and pick-and-place with short cycle times.
