Vacuum generators use compressed air to convert air pressure into vacuum. They connect at or near the point of use to generate the suction needed for vacuum pads to attach to workpieces in material handling applications. Also referred to as vacuum ejectors, these devices are often used in systems without a vacuum pump.

They have lightweight, compact plastic bodies, integrated silencers for quiet operation, and connect to air supply and vacuum lines with plug-in or threaded connections. Multiple units can be employed to construct ejector blocks in decentralized vacuum systems.
