Schmalz FSTIm vacuum buffers handle workpieces with different heights or curvatures as well as highly sensitive workpieces such as printed circuit boards (PCBs). Also called spring plungers, these compact units have an internal damping spring to ensure soft placement of items, axial or lateral vacuum connections, and connections for suction cups. They are used for sensitive tasks in electronics and suited for some cleanroom applications.
