Air-Powered Nail Guns
Available47 products
Air-powered nail guns (sometimes called nailers) connect to a pressurized air supply to drive nails and pins quickly, accurately, and with less effort than manual hammers and staplers. They hold nail strips or coils that feed nails one after the other to speed installation in framing, roofing, cabinetry, and flooring tasks. A safety mechanism requires the tip of the tool to be compressed before the nail is fired. These guns accept nails with a compatible collation angle, collation type (e.g., glue, paper), head shape, gauge or diameter, length, and style (e.g., finishing, brad). Nailers using straight-collation nails drive nails square while nailers using angled-collation nails drive nails at angles and in corners. Air-powered nailers are typically lighter than cordless tools to help reduce operator fatigue during extended use. They also have fewer moving parts, so they tend to run cooler and have a longer lifespan.
Air-Powered Framing Nailers
Air-powered framing nailers are typically used in structural wood framing, when securing subflooring to joists, and for other non-finishing tasks.

Air-Powered Brad Nailers
Air-powered brad nailers drive 18 ga. brads in lightweight finishing applications in cabinetry, construction, and woodworking where the appearance of nail heads should be minimized. Brad nailers drive smaller nails than finish nailers and larger nails than pin nailers.

Air-Powered Finish Nailers
Air-powered finish nailers (sometimes called trim nailers) hold nails with small heads that are used to limit the appearance of nails, such as when installing baseboard, trim, and molding. Small-head nails are easier to cover and can be used on smaller workpieces to limit splitting.

Air-Powered Pin Nailers
Air-powered pin nailers drive small nails in fine detailing and finishing applications in cabinetry and woodworking such as applying decorative trim. Pin nailers drive smaller nails than finish and brad nailers.

Air-Powered Roofing Nailers
Air-powered roofing nailers hold large, round-head roofing nails for installing shingles. Roofing nailers have a shallower angle than framing nailers and hold coiled fasteners to reduce reloading of the tool that can cause a safety hazard when working at heights.

Air-Powered Siding Nailers
Air-powered siding nailers drive nails through hard materials such as fiber cement board. They typically are more powerful than roofing nailers to drive larger nails through harder material and to hold siding securely in place while working.

Air-Powered Palm Nailers
Air-powered palm nailers (sometimes called impact nailers) are small tools that can be held in the palm of the hand to fit into tight places where a hammer is awkward or won't fit. The operator manually places the nail head into the tool and presses the nail to the surface. The nailer then uses an impact mechanism to tap the nail into the wood.

Air-Powered Metal Connector Nailers
These air-powered nailers secure joist hangers and metal connectors (sometimes called straps) as well as other structural hangers to wood framing and building foundations. They have a positive placement to quickly and accurately align the nail with holes in the hanger or strap.

Air-Powered Flooring Nailers
Air-powered flooring nailers (sometimes called cleat nailers) rest on the floor and are angled to drive a nail or flooring cleat through floorboards into subfloor. The nailer is positioned against the board tongue and is then hit with a mallet to drive the nail at the correct angle. Flooring nailers allow workers to install flooring while standing to limit back and knee injuries and speed installation.
