Air Fuses
Available6 products
Air fuses install in compressed air systems to shut off the air flow when a hose line is damaged or a tool is unexpectedly uncoupled. The sudden surge of downstream pressure can cause flexible hose to lash around uncontrollably, also referred to as "hose whip," which can cause damage and injury.
Air Fuses
These air fuses install in an air supply system where the pipe and flexible hose connect. During normal operation, the fuse is open when upstream and downstream pressure is similar. If the hose is damaged, there is a surge of downstream pressure and the fuse will automatically close.
