These sterile filter assemblies feature a 3-stage filtering process. The first stage is a pre-filter that removes large particles of liquids and solids. The second stage is a coalescing filter that removes oil and contaminants. The final and third stage is a sterile-air-grade filter that removes viable organisms, such as bacteria and mold, and meets standards required for use in food processing applications. These modular assemblies can be replaced with individual units when needed.

These individual units are intended to replace air filters in a 3-stage air filter assembly. The filter efficiency rating determines the order of placement with the highest efficiency rating placed last.
