Compressed air filter/regulators combine the function of a filter and a regulator in a single device. Also referred to as "piggybacks," these units save space on a compressed air supply line by improving the quality of the compressed air while regulating the pressure. These air filter/regulators are typically installed on a branch line extending off the main air supply line, or at the point of use. FRL modules are interchangeable within the same brand and series and provide flexibility in customizing the system based on the needs of the application.
