Pneumatically-actuated globe valves use compressed air to open and close the valve and control the flow of chemically compatible media within a system. They have a higher closing force than electrically-actuated valves and are suitable for systems moving viscous liquids. Globe valves provide a tighter seal and precision control over regulating media flow than other throttling valves.
