Cryogenic Solenoid Valves
Cryogenic solenoid valves are built with durable materials to withstand harsh environments and control extremely cold fluids like liquid oxygen, liquid argon, and liquid nitrogen. These electromagnetic devices use an inductive wire coil to actuate a metallic plunger. When energized, a magnetic field is generated and moves the plunger up and down automatically to open or close the valve, which starts or stops the flow of cryogenic fluids.
2-Way/2-Position, Normally Closed Solenoid Valves
2-way/2-position cryogenic solenoid valves have an inlet and an outlet port and operate in two states or positions: open or closed. Normally closed solenoids remain shut until energized to open and allow flow.
