Wafer spring-loaded swing check valves install between flanges and have a compact and lightweight profile. They're suitable for weight- and space-limited applications in chemical processing, HVAC, water distribution, and various other industries. The spring-loaded swinging disc helps securely close the valve when backflow cannot generate enough force to move the disc back into the seat. Flowing media on the inlet side swing the disc away from the seat, opening the valve. When inlet pressure drops below outlet pressure, the disc will swing closed to prevent backflow and contamination.
