General service ball check valves ensure media travels through a system in the intended direction and stop backflow. Media traveling through the line pushes the ball away from the valve's seat to open the flow path and media traveling in the opposite direction pushes the ball up against the seat to stop backflow. During operation, the ball moves within the valve body and cleans itself as it rotates. These valves are compact and suited for high-pressure applications and viscous media.
