Viton is an elastomer, or rubber-like material, that maintains its resistance to chemicals and oils at high temperatures and prevents aging and ozone deterioration when exposed to UV light and weather. Viton tubing is more flexible than PTFE tubing and is used in lubrication systems, automotive fluid transfer, and chemical transfer applications.
