Copper Tubing for Plumbing & HVAC
Available5 products
Copper tubing, also called copper pipe, is commonly used in plumbing, heating, cooling, and other systems. Lightweight copper is antimicrobial, durable, and more resistant to corrosion than other metals. Types K, L, M, and DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent) are designated by ASTM International standard sizes. Each type represents a series of sizes with different wall thicknesses. Copper tubing must be permanently marked in accordance with its governing specifications to show tube type, the name or trademark of the manufacturer, and the country of origin.

Drain, Waste & Vent Copper Tubing
Copper DWV (drain, waste, and vent) tubing helps remove waterborne waste using gravity instead of pressure. This low-pressure rated tubing is suitable for above-ground applications but cannot carry the water pressure used in most municipal water supply systems. DWV copper tubing is commonly used for drain, waste, vent, HVAC, and solar applications. ASTM specifications are permanently marked or incised in yellow to distinguish between other copper tube types.
