Soldered tube fittings, also called sweat fittings and solder tube fittings, are connected to copper tubing or other fittings by heating or soldering for a permanent, leaktight connection. Soldered tube fittings are available in standard copper, low-lead cast copper, cast copper, and drain, waste, and vent copper, plus clean and bagged copper fittings for a variety of applications.
