Inverted flare tube fittings create a metal-to-metal seal inside the fitting for tighter tube bends. The flare on the tubing is clamped between the nut and the body to resist mechanical pull-out. Inverted flare fittings resist vibrations when used with copper, brass, aluminum, and welded steel hydraulic tubing that can be flared.
