Installation Style

The way in which the insulation closes around the pipe or tube.

Unslit indicates the insulation does not have an open seam for fitting onto the pipe or tube. It must be cut and glued, or slid onto the end of the pipe or tube.
Semi-Slit is partially slit to allow the insulation to be fully split by hand without the use of cutting tools.
Slit with Adhesive is factory slit and comes with a pressure-sensitive adhesive along the seam for a secure fit around the pipe or tube.
Slit with Adhesive and Flap indicates the insulation tube is factory slit and comes with a pressure-sensitive adhesive overflap for securing the insulation around the pipe or tube.
