Polyvinylidene Pressure Pipe Fittings & Flanges

Available85 products
Polyvinylidene, or PVDF, fittings and flanges connect with pipe to divert, divide, or return the flow of liquids and chemicals in chemical plant, pharmaceutical, medical, and food processing applications. PVDF, often referred to by its tradename Kynar, resists salts, strong acids, dilute bases, and organic solvents, and is ultraviolet (UV) stable for outdoor use. Pressure-rated fittings and flanges have a numbered schedule rating. The higher schedule number indicates a thicker, stronger wall to handle higher pressures. Schedule 80 fittings have thicker walls than Schedule 40, but not as thick as Schedule 100. PVDF fittings and flanges come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

Threaded x Threaded Pipe Fittings

Threaded x Threaded Pipe Fittings
Red threaded x threaded pressure fittings are threaded on all connection ends. Female threads are on the inside of a fitting. Male threads are on the outside of a fitting and screw into the female threads. Threaded connections use PTFE tape to secure seal.

Socket x Socket Pipe Fittings

Socket x Socket Pipe Fittings
Red socket x socket pressure fittings connect to pipe. Socket fittings, also called slip or hub fittings, include socket ends on all fitting connection ends. The socket ends fit over the end of an PVDF pipe and require glue or adhesive to secure the connection.

Socket x Threaded Pipe Fittings

Socket x Threaded Pipe Fittings
Red socket x threaded pressure fittings include one socket (hub or slip) fitting end and one threaded end. Socket ends require glue or adhesive to secure connection. Female threads are on the inside of a fitting. Male threads are on the outside of a fitting and screw into the female threads. Threaded connections use PTFE tape to secure seal.

Spigot x Socket Pipe Fittings

Spigot x Socket Pipe Fittings
Red spigot x socket pressure fittings include a spigot (also known as street) end that fits inside a socket (hub or slip) end that fits over a pipe. The spigot end is necessary when a fitting connects to another fitting (not directly to a pipe). These fittings require glue or adhesive to secure the connection.

Blind Flanges

Blind Flanges

Red blind pressure flanges, also called blank flanges, seal the end of piping systems or pressure vessel openings. These flanges are commonly used for testing the flow of gas or liquid through a pipe or vessel by blocking off a section of the pipe that is not used.

Butt Weld Flanges

Butt Weld Flanges
Red butt weld pressure flanges, also called welded neck flanges, attach by welding the pipe to the neck of the flange, transferring stress from both the flange and the hub’s base to the pipe. The inside diameter of the flange matches the inside diameter of the pipe. Butt weld flanges typically have a RTJ (ring-type joint) face.
