Nontoxic CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) is a strong, rigid thermoplastic material that resists corrosion, chemicals, and rust. Lightweight CPVC is immune to damage from highly chlorinated water and resists most acids, aliphatic solutions, bases, halogens, oxidants, and salts. CPVC pipe and nipples connect with pipe fittings to transport potable water, corrosive liquids, and sewage. CPVC is available in pipe lengths over 12" and nipple lengths 12" and shorter.
