Drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems convey effluent streams, such as black water, gray water, or lab waste. DWV fittings connect the same or different sizes of CPVC pipe and use gravity to divert, divide, or return the flow of water and waste through the pipeline. DWV pipe and fittings are not for use in pressure applications. CPVC, or chlorinated polyvinyl chloride, is a strong, rigid thermoplastic material that resists corrosion, chemicals, and rust. CPVC drain, waste, and vent pipe fittings come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Socket x Socket Pipe Fittings
Socket x socket CPVC fittings, also called slip or hub fittings, include socket ends on all fitting connection ends. The socket ends fit over the end of pipe and require glue or adhesive to secure the connection.
