Steam hose ground-joint couplings are ideal for high-pressure steam applications as well as high-pressure air, water, chemical, and petroleum applications. Also known as boss couplings, they provide compatible threads for connecting two lengths of steam hose or for connecting a length of hose to equipment. These barbed hose fittings grip the inside of the hose to hold the fitting in place and are secured with an interlocking clamp to create a leak-resistant seal.
