General purpose stretch wrap rolls have a continuous length of plastic wrapped around a core. Hand-grade stretch wrap film is manually wrapped around pallets and bundles. Rolls are generally smaller than machine-grade wraps, making them easier to handle and move around a facility. Hand-grade wrap with handles help protect workers' hands from cuts and scrapes caused by sharp core edges. Machine-grade wrap is used on automatic wrapping machines.
