Air pillow films are rolls of a double layer of thin plastic film. Film is inflated and sealed in sections with an air pillow machine of the same brand as the film to form a packing "pillow." Perforations between each pillow allow them to be separated into singles or lengths of pillows as needed to fill void space in a package prior to shipment. The air pillows provide some cushioning for packaged items, preventing them from shifting in transit.
