Standard packaging benchtop tape machines, also known as box sealers, apply tape to the top and bottom of cardboard cases. They are compact for use on a tabletop and do not utilize a conveyor. The tape size needed is preselected by the user. These machines can work with packaging tape, strapping tape, and masking tape and are most commonly used for sealing regular slotted containers (RSC).
