Platform Lift Trucks

Available47 products
Platform lift trucks have a stable, flat platform that supports smaller loads, bulk goods, or irregularly shaped items that are not stored on pallets or skids, and they have a lifting mechanism that raises the loaded platform. Also called platform stackers, these wheeled vehicles move and lift loads to stack them or put them onto storage racks or other high surfaces in warehouses, manufacturing plants, and other industrial areas. Platform lifts need less maintenance and can maneuver more easily in tight spaces than forklifts, and they don't require certification to operate. Manual platform lifts require less maintenance than powered platform lifts. Fully or partially powered platform lifts take less physical effort to operate than manual platform lifts. Unless noted otherwise, platform lifts are for use on firm, level surfaces because they may roll back if used on inclines.

Manual Hand-Truck-Style Platform Lifts

Manual Hand-Truck-Style Platform Lifts
Manual hand-truck-style platform lifts have two large rear wheels and are tilted back and rolled to move loads from one place to another. The nose of their platform sits on the ground when the trucks are upright, which decreases the distance items need to be lifted when loading them onto the platform. Manual hand-truck-style platform lifts are used for lifting and stacking operations and have a foot pedal or hand crank that activates their lifting mechanism. They are suitable for intermittent use and applications where relatively light loads will be moved and lifted short distances.

Manual Platform Lift Trucks/Stackers

Manual Platform Lift Trucks/Stackers
Manual platform lift trucks/stackers have a removable platform and adjustable-width forks. The platform is used for moving and raising loads that are not stored on pallets or skids, and the forks are used for moving and raising loads that are stored on pallets and skids. The trucks' outrigger legs are positioned directly underneath their platform, which gives them a compact footprint and lets them maneuver in tight spaces such as aisles, loading docks, and store rooms. These platform lift trucks are used for lifting and stacking operations. They are also sometimes used as adjustable-height work tables and for feeding materials into machines. They have a foot pedal that activates their lifting mechanism. Manual platform lift trucks/stackers are suitable for intermittent use and applications where loads will be moved and lifted short distances.

Modular Powered-Lift/Manual-Push Platform Lift Trucks with Workbench

Modular Powered-Lift/Manual-Push Platform Lift Trucks with Workbench
Modular powered-lift/manual-push platform lift trucks accept a variety of optional lifting attachments to allow them to lift a wider range of items than non-modular platform lift trucks. They also fold down to save space when not in use. The platform on these trucks doubles as an expandable workbench and comes with work clamps, a vise, a handle, and a load-securing back bar. Also called semi-electric platform lift trucks, the trucks have an electric motor that activates their lifting mechanism to raise their platform. The motor is powered by a rechargeable battery. These platform lift trucks are used as adjustable-height work tables and for lifting and stacking loads. They must be pushed or pulled by hand, so they are best suited for applications where loads will be moved short distances.
