General Purpose Hand Trucks

Available1 product
General purpose hand trucks are upright wheeled carts that let one person move large or heavy loads, such as boxes, crates, bins, equipment, and raw materials. Also known as dollies, hand trollies, or stack trucks, hand trucks have a nose plate that supports a load and a vertical frame that prevents the load from falling off the trucks as they are moving. The nose plate slides under the load or the load is stacked onto the nose plate, and the trucks are tilted back and balanced on their wheels so they can be rolled from one place to another.

Easy-Load & -Tilt Steel General Purpose Hand Trucks

Easy-Load & -Tilt Steel General Purpose Hand Trucks
Easy-load and -tilt steel general purpose hand trucks have foot kicks that operators use to push the bottom of the trucks forward as they tilt the trucks back. This reduces the effort it takes to start the trucks rolling while carrying heavy loads. Sometimes called shovel-nose hand trucks, the trucks have tapered nose plates with a beveled leading edge that can slide under loads more easily than nose plates that do not have those features. They have steel frames and nose plates and are used in warehouses, manufacturing plants, delivery services, commercial buildings, and similar settings.
