Cylinder Hand Trucks
Available57 products
Cylinder hand trucks are used to move or temporarily store gas cylinders. Their frames are shaped to accommodate specific sizes and quantities of cylinders. The trucks have a vertical frame and are tilted back and balanced on their wheels so they can be rolled from one place to another. Cylinder hand trucks are used in medical, laboratory, food-processing, manufacturing, and construction applications.
Magnetic-Hold Ergonomic Tilt-Back Cylinder Hand Trucks
These hand trucks do not have a nose plate but instead have strong magnets that hold gas cylinders securely in place on the trucks. Users step on a foot pedal to release the cylinders from the trucks. This design allows cylinders to be loaded and unloaded from the trucks more quickly than would be possible on cylinder hand trucks with a nose plate. These tilt-back trucks have two large wheels mounted on a frame extension behind the trucks' two front wheels. The hand trucks can rest on all four wheels when they are tilted back, which reduces the physical effort it takes to keep them upright when moving heavy cylinders. It also lets operators open doors and perform other tasks with their hands without having to support the hand trucks or return them to vertical and then re-tilt them again. The trucks have a steel frame and stainless steel magnet housings.

Welding Cylinder Hand Trucks
These hand trucks can transport oxygen and acetylene gas cylinders used in welding applications. They can also be used to store the cylinders for short periods of time (less than 24 hours). They may have features such as compartments, trays, or winders for storing welding equipment or hoses as well as brackets that secure specific sizes of welding gas cylinders.

Firewall Welding Cylinder Hand Trucks
Firewall welding cylinder hand trucks are used to move oxygen and acetylene gas cylinders in welding applications where cylinders may be stored on the trucks for long periods of time (more than 24 hours). They have a steel firewall that creates a barrier between the two cylinders and helps prevent fires or explosions. The firewall also protects the cylinders from damage during transfer and storage.

Load-Control Cylinder Hand Trucks with Brake
Load-control cylinder hand trucks have a hand brake that slows or stops the trucks as they're moving up or down inclines or ramps. This helps operators maintain control of loaded trucks while traveling on inclines or exiting vehicles or buildings. The hand trucks are made from aluminum. They weigh less than steel cylinder hand trucks and resist rusting when used in damp or wet environments.
