Platform trucks with a steel deck provide good strength for transporting a wide variety of materials. These wheeled carts have a flat deck that allows large or heavy materials to be efficiently loaded and unloaded onto or off of the carts to move the materials from one place to another. Steel-deck platform trucks are used for a wide variety of material-handling applications, including moving raw materials, packages, tools, and equipment in warehouses, factories, loading docks, stock rooms, and mail rooms.

Flow-Through Steel-Deck Platform Trucks
These flow-through steel-deck platform trucks have perforated or grated decks with openings that allow debris and moisture to fall through the deck instead of collecting on it. Sometimes called garden carts, these platform trucks are used in garden centers, warehouses, manufacturing plants, and other areas where the carts will frequently be exposed to dirt, moisture, or washdowns. They have low decks that reduce the distance heavy or bulky materials must be lifted when loading and unloading them.

High-Capacity Steel-Deck Platform Trucks
High-capacity steel-deck platform trucks bear heavier loads and start rolling more easily when loaded than carts with smaller wheels of a similar construction. These trucks have low decks that reduce the distance heavy or bulky materials must be lifted when loading and unloading them.
