Hinges & Pivots for T-Slot Framing
Available43 products
Hinges and pivots create a movable joint on T-slot framing structures. They provide a smooth range of motion for doors, lids, articulating arms, and other movable parts. They can also be used to connect parts on T-slot framing structures in applications where the angle between the parts may need to be adjusted.
Fixed Hinges
Fixed hinges allow doors, lids, and similar parts to open and close on structural framing projects. Each hinge has two leaves, and each leaf has holes that accept screws for mounting.

Slotted Fixed Hinges
Slotted fixed hinges allow doors, lids, and similar parts to open and close on structural framing projects. They provide more mounting flexibility than standard fixed hinges. Each hinge has two leaves, and each leaf has slots that accept screws for mounting. The slots allow the hinge's position to be adjusted during installation.

Adjustable-Friction Fixed Hinges
Adjustable-friction fixed hinges allow doors, lids, and similar parts to open and close on structural framing projects in applications where the speed of the opening and closing must be controlled. The friction on each hinge can be adjusted to provide more or less resistance throughout its range of motion, which affects how quickly the hinge closes or opens. Each hinge has two leaves, and each leaf has holes that accept screws for mounting.

Captive Lift-Off Hinges
Captive lift-off hinges each have a mating pin that lifts out of the hinge's hub. This allows parts connected by the hinges to be separated without having to uninstall the hinges. These hinges allow doors, lids, and similar parts to open, close, or lift off completely on structural framing projects. The top section of each hinge needs to be loosened in order for the mating pin to be able to lift out. Each hinge has three leaves, and each leaf has holes that accept screws for mounting.

Pivot Joints
Pivot joints allow arms and other parts to articulate on T-slot framing structures. They each consist of two halves that are connected by a pivot bolt. The bolt allows the angle between the two halves to be adjusted, and it can be tightened to hold the two halves at a desired angle. Pivot joints require the end of a profile to be tapped when mounting the joint to the end of the profile. Machining is not required when mounting the pivot joint into a slot on a profile.

Locking-Lever Pivot Joints
Locking-lever fixed hinges allow doors, lids, and similar parts to open and close on structural framing projects. A lever handle on each hinge can be engaged to stop the hinge from opening or closing and hold the parts attached to the hinge in place. The handle can be released to allow the hinge to open and close freely. Each hinge has two leaves, and each leaf has holes that accept screws for mounting.

Structural Pivot Joint Assemblies
Structural pivot joint assemblies allow arms and other parts to articulate on T-slot framing structures. Each pivot joint consists of two pivot arms connected to a pivot nub with a pivot bolt. The bolt allows the angle between the arms and the nub to be adjusted, and the bolt can be tightened to hold the arms at a desired angle. Pivot joints require the end of a profile to be tapped when mounting the joint to the end of the profile. Machining is not required when mounting the pivot joint into a slot on a profile.
