Air can circulate through the decking for ventilation, and water can pass through the decking if sprinkler systems turn on. Teardrop pallet racks do not require special tools or bolts to assemble. The beams slide into holes on the uprights, and the holes have a tapered bottom that keeps the beams from coming loose as items are moved onto or off of the racks.
