SPC components are used with precision measuring instruments that have SPC output capability to record and transfer data to a personal computer. SPC cables and adapters connect measuring instruments to a receiver. Adapters are used to make the SPC cables compatible with the instrument or output device. SPC processors are portable mini-printers that are connected to measuring tools and print a paper record of data. Multiplexers come with one or many connection ports. Tools are plugged into these connection ports and the multiplexer will transmit data from multiple tools to a personal computer. Wireless SPC components allow for one or many instruments to transfer measurements for SPC records and traceability without use of a cable.
