Roughing Cobalt Square End Mills
Available3 products
Roughing cobalt square end mills remove large amounts of material from a workpiece more quickly than finishing cobalt square end mills. Cobalt end mills can be used at higher speeds and are harder and more wear-resistant than high-speed steel end mills. Sometimes called square-nose end mills, square end mills have a square nose and are rotated against a piece of stock to create a flat-bottomed groove with 90° inside corners in milling tasks. They are used for counterboring, side and face milling, and milling square shoulders.

8-Flute Roughing Bright Finish Cobalt Square End Mills
Eight-flute end mills allow for higher feed rates than end mills with fewer flutes and clear chips more quickly than end mills with more flutes. They also typically have larger cores and are less prone to breaking than end mills with fewer flutes. The bright finish on these end mills provides a smooth, polished surface.
