Corner-Rounding End Mills
Available93 products
Corner-rounding end mills have concave cutting edges on their nose that create a rounded outside edge on a workpiece. They are used to ease and shape sharp outside corners on a workpiece. Each end mill has flutes on its cutting head that carry chips away from the workpiece to prevent damage to the end mill or workpiece. Corner-rounding end mills are used on CNC or manual milling machines.
Double-End Straight-Shank Corner-Rounding End Mills
Double-end corner-rounding end mills with a straight shank have concave cutting edges on both their ends for creating rounded outside edges on a workpiece. They can accomplish more milling tasks than single-end corner-rounding end mills before they need to be replaced. When the cutting edges on one end wear down, the end mill can be flipped over to expose the fresh cutting edges on the other end. End mills with a straight shank install into a chuck, collet, or heat-shrink toolholder on a milling machine.

Single-End Weldon-Flat Shank Corner-Rounding End Mills
Single-end corner-rounding mills with a Weldon-flat shank feature concave cutting edges on one end for creating rounded outside edges on a workpiece. They are less fragile than double-end corner-rounding end mills. These end mills have a single flat on their shank, and they install into milling machines with tool holders that use a set screw to lock the tools in place and prevent them from moving in the toolholder during use.
