Box & Pan Brakes
Available30 products
The segmented, top beam of box-and-pan brakes allows them to make multiple bends in sheet metal workpieces and form boxes, trays, and pans. Also known as finger brakes, their top beam consists of individual plates (fingers) that can be removed to accommodate rims, collars, and folds on workpieces. They hold a piece of sheet metal on their bottom plate and clamp the top beam onto the sheet along the selected fold. The hinged, forming bar attached to the bottom plate rotates toward the top beam and bends the sheet against it until reaching the desired angle.
Manual Box & Pan Brakes
These box-and-pan brakes require manual effort to clamp the top beam and lift the folding bar to make bends in sheet metal. They are commonly used in areas or on jobsites without access to power.

Hydraulic Box & Pan Brakes
Hydraulic cylinders in these box-and-pan brakes apply force to clamp the top beam and lift the folding bar to make more controlled bends with less effort than manual brakes. They are used for longer bends and thicker materials than manual brakes.
