Metal-Cutting Hole Cutters
Available41 products
These hole cutters are used on steel and steel-alloy workpieces for tasks such as cutting knockouts in electrical panels. They can also be used on stainless steel, aluminum, and other soft alloys. Hole cutters have a hollow center and a number of cutting teeth similar to those found on a circular saw blade. They cut holes by removing a section of material while leaving the core whole. This speeds drilling and allows larger holes to be made using a handheld power drill than is possible using a standard drill bit.
Metal-Cutting Hole Cutters without Arbor
These metal-cutting hole cutters don't include an arbor, allowing users to customize their hole saw or use their own arbor. Arbors attach to a hole saw to mount the saw in the drill and attach a pilot bit.

Metal-Cutting Hole Cutters with Attached Arbor
These metal-cutting hole cutters have a permanently attached arbor. They are used when workers repeat the same cuts often and don't need to use the arbor on other tools. Arbors attach to a hole saw to mount the saw in the drill and attach a pilot bit.
