Spot-weld drill bit sets contain multiple bits for drilling out spot welds that are holding two or more thin sheets of metal together. They are commonly used to separate spot-welded auto body panels without damaging the bottom panel. The bits have a self-centering tip that prevents them from walking (or moving) while starting to drill.
