Indexing Plungers
Indexing plungers position and index parts in machining applications. The spring automatically returns the plunger to the extended position unless it's locked in the retracted position, making them a good choice for applications where the plunger remains in the extended position most of the times. Knurled-knob retractable spring plungers have serrated edges for a secure grip from the side or top. Pull-ring retractable spring plungers are grasped from the top and have a low profile. L-handle retractable spring plungers rotate when grasped from the top or side. Cam-action plungers are manually retracted and extended for use in high-precision applications. Pull-knob plungers have a compact, round handle and tapered sides to provide a secure grip from above. T-handle plungers are grasped from above with multiple fingers to provide a strong grip when a more secure grip or more lifting force is needed. Flange-mount plungers are surface mounted for latching and positioning. Keyed indexing plungers prevent unauthorized access to ensure plunger position is not inadvertently changed or tampered with. Indexing plunger accessories extend installation and plunger capabilities.
