Gear oils lubricate, cool, and protect gear teeth that slide and roll together under high pressures and speeds. Gears are typically enclosed in a gearbox where the lubricant must also protect bearings within the box. Gearboxes are installed in conveyors, pulpers, and pumps in heavy duty applications and harsh environments.

High-Temperature Extreme-Pressure Gear Oils
These gear oils prevent wear on gear teeth by maintaining a lubricating layer between surfaces in high-temperature and extreme-pressure (EP) systems. They protect gears and extend their operating life in operating temperatures of 300°F or greater, and with heavy loads and pressures where standard gear oils may degrade and squeeze out.
