Dielectric insulates sensitive electrical components against conductivity to protect against galvanic corrosion.
Extreme Pressure also referred to as EP, maintains a lubricating layer between surfaces in highly pressurized conditions where standard lubricants degrade and squeeze out.
High Temperature maintains lubricating performance and will not drip or degrade when exposed to high heat.
Low Temperature maintains lubricating performance under freezing conditions as well as contact with ice, road salt, and humidity.
Oxygen Safe remains nonflammable and thermally stable around oxygen or oxidizing chemicals.
Water Resistant inhibits corrosion and rust while maintaining lubricating performance in conditions with prolonged exposure to water.

NLGI Viscosity Grade

The consistency of the grease based on a scale from 000 (fluid) to 6 (hard) established by the National Lubricating Grease Institute which evaluates the grease using the ASTM D217 testing standard at 77°F.

1 has the soft consistency of tomato paste.
2 has the standard consistency of peanut butter.

Clay is a nonsoap thickener that resists heat, water, and oxidation.
Lithium is a simple soap that withstands mechanical shearing and has good resistance to water, heat, and oil separation.
Lithium Complex is a complex soap with higher dropping points than simple soap for high-temperature applications.
Polyurea is a nonsoap thickener that inhibits oxidation and is used for bearings in high temperature, continuous operations.
PTFE is a nonsoap thickener that has good lubricity and resists heat, water, and mechanical shearing.
