Desiccant breathers mount to lubrication containers or reservoirs in industrial equipment to allow clean, dry air to flow into the system, keeping pressure neutral while preventing the ingress of moisture or contaminants. These breathers use silica gel to absorb moisture and a filter to remove airborne particulate, prolonging oil life. Silica gel changes color to indicate the breather is depleted and requires replacement.

These desiccant breathers prevent moisture and contaminants from entering oil reservoirs in machinery and equipment operating in extremely humid conditions. They control air flow in and out of oil reservoirs and prolong the life of the breather by only allowing air to pass when needed.
