Wet Location Combination Exit Signs & Emergency Lights

Available1 product

Wet location combination exit signs with emergency lights mark exits and illuminate pathways to guide evacuations from areas where the lights may be exposed to water. They may be rated for a specific degree of protection from water, drips, splashes, or sprays. Exit light combos hardwire into an electrical system and automatically switch to their battery backup after a power loss to keep the exit sign lit and turn on the emergency lights. They can stay lit for at least 90 minutes. These lights meet requirements for exit signs along an egress path, at doorways leading to exits, and at exits. They must be installed and regularly tested in accordance with local safety codes. Mounting them at the recommended spacing provides coverage to meet code-specific illumination levels along the path of egress and eliminate dark spots without overlighting.

Plastic Exit Signs with Round Bottom-Mount Light Heads

Plastic Exit Signs with Round Bottom-Mount Light Heads
These plastic exit sign and emergency light combos won't rust and are lightweight to ease installation. Plastic combos are a cost-effective alternative to steel in wet locations where local safety codes don't require steel housings and where fixtures won't be subject to impacts or abuse. They are commonly installed near pools, in marine environments, and in other corrosive settings. Their round light heads mount on the bottom of the exit sign housing and maintain a consistent look in installations with other round, bottom-mount light heads.
