These desiccators have port holes to connect a vacuum pump to remove moisture and air from the container and create a low-pressure environment. Vacuum desiccators dry, preserve, and extend the shelf-life of samples, such as seeds, faster and better than non-vacuum desiccators.

Desiccator plates and shelves are accessories supplementing the function of existing containers. They provide additional storage for samples or customize the configuration of desiccators for specific application requirements.
