Steel Hydraulic Tanks
Available5 products
Steel hydraulic reservoir tanks have welded seams and are used for storing reserve fluid in hydraulic systems, such as those found in material handling and industrial applications. Heavy-duty steel hydraulic tanks have a top plate that can support peripherals, such as motors and pumps. Hydraulic tanks and reservoirs hold excess hydraulic fluid as the needs in a hydraulic system change. They also cool and filter fluid as it passes through the system and allow air escape from the fluid. Cooling and cleaning hydraulic fluid reduces contaminant buildup, which reduces maintenance costs and extends the working life of the system.
Vertical Steel Hydraulic Tanks
Vertical hydraulic reservoir tanks store excess hydraulic fluid when the fluid not being used by the system and can be used to cool and filter the fluid. A removable lid can be machined for mounting system components, and the flat bottom can be used to mount the reservoir. The tank is constructed of steel, which is nonporous and resists damage, making it suitable for use in demanding environments. Reservoir tanks include a breather cap, liquid level gauge, drain port, and thermometer.

Horizontal Steel Hydraulic Tanks
Horizontal hydraulic reservoirs have a baffle plate and dual chambers to accommodate systems with higher flow rates and larger fluid volumes than those suitable for vertical tanks. The baffle plate creates two chambers, which helps control fluid flow and return. The baffle also provides a longer path for the fluid to travel, which helps cool the fluid and provides more time for contaminants to settle. They have a non-removable lid, so most system components are mounted on the side of the tank. The convex bottom allows contaminants to settle to the bottom of the tank. Reservoir tanks include a breather cap, liquid level gauge, drain port, and thermometer.
