Hydraulic ram spreaders attach to a hydraulic pump or power source to drive a wedge between two surfaces to lift, separate, or spread parts. Similar to a wedge, the spreader jaws fit into tight spaces to pry pieces apart or to lift items in stages. They are often used in general material handling, pipe flange maintenance, and rigging.

Lift Wedge Rams
Lift-wedge rams have one flat side and a stepped wedge on the opposite side for use in lifting items off the ground. The item is lifted in stages and cribbed (or supported) while the wedge is moved to the next step to lift the item higher.

Lift Wedge Ram & Pump Sets
Lift-wedge ram and pump sets include items necessary to perform basic lifting of low-clearance items. Lift-wedge rams have a jaw with a flat side for resting on the ground and a stepped wedge side that allows items to be lifted off the ground in stages.
