Workholding Hydraulic Rams
Available12 products
Workholding hydraulic rams have a high cylinder force to position and securely clamp parts in high-volume applications where tight tolerances are critical. They are preferred to mechanical clamping that's used for shorter production runs and where tight tolerances are not required. Hollow plunger workholding rams allow the load to be attached to either end of the cylinder for push or pull operation, and they have an internal spring that returns the cylinder to its starting position for unloading the workpiece. Solid plunger workholding rams provide movement in one direction (single-acting) and they have a long stroke length for use in tight spaces such as in welding applications.
Solid Plunger Workholding Rams
Solid-plunger block-body hydraulic cylinders are single-acting, which means they provide movement in one direction and have an internal spring that returns the cylinder to its starting position.

Hollow Plunger Workholding Rams
Hollow-plunger block-body hydraulic cylinders support loads from both ends, allowing for push and pull operations that can utilize full cylinder capacity. They have a threaded collar and base mounting holes to provide a variety of mounting options, including T-slot, tabletop, and surface mounting. Single-acting cylinders are spring-loaded to ease unloading.
