Aquastat relays are thermostat-based relays that help maintain the correct water temperature in hydronic heating systems by turning the heating components on and off. Depending on their configuration, they can act as a high limit, low limit, or both. Some units feature additional contacts that control the circulating pump.
Single Function
Single-function aquastats prevent the hydronic heating system from exceeding its upper- or lower-temperature limit. They activate when their trigger temperature is reached and turn the boiler on or off.
