Differential Pressure Refrigerant Controls
Differential pressure refrigerant controls tap into two points of a refrigeration system and measure the difference in pressure between them. This reading triggers a switch and sends a signal to the HVAC control systems.
Differential Controls
Differential pressure controls connect to both the high- and low-pressure lines of a refrigeration system and monitor the difference in pressure between them. Depending on their configuration, they can make or break an electrical connection in response to the difference in pressure rising above or falling below a certain level. Some units have adjustable trigger points, while others have fixed pressure differentials.
