Electromagnetic locks are keyless and use two opposing magnets to create a magnetic force that locks doors and holds them shut. Also called Mag locks, they operate when a power source is turned on to activate or release the magnetic field.

Single-door magnetic locks have two parts: one secures on the door frame, while the other attaches to the door itself. When the lock activates, the door is secured and will not open. These locks are often paired with access control systems to eliminate unauthorized access.
