Door closers pull doors closed once they've been opened and released. They are used on fire doors to help prevent the spread of flames and smoke in the event of a fire. They are also used to keep out drafts and regulate room temperature in interior spaces.

Corbin Russin® door closers feature rugged design principles for high-traffic and high-abuse areas. Captured valves enhance security and help make closers vandal- and tamper-resistant. Universal models include brackets and arms to install closers in top jamb, standard, and parallel applications. Durable, steel rack-and-pinion construction helps provide effective door control during both opening and closing cycles. Standard arm design allows inside mounting of closer on out-swinging doors. Units install on the push side of the door with the arm parallel to the face of the door. Arms do not project from the opening. Use in healthcare facilities, office buildings, and schools.
