Door closers pull doors closed once they've been opened and released. They are used on fire doors to help prevent the spread of flames and smoke in the event of a fire. They are also used to keep out drafts and regulate room temperature in interior spaces.

LCN heavy-duty security door closers feature cast-iron cylinders, forged steel arms, all-weather fluid, and double heat-treated pinions that help provide long service life.

1261 and 1461 Series Closers are nonhanded and can be mounted with parallel arms on either right or left swing doors. They do not include covers. Powder-coated finish. Self-tapping/self-reaming screws, and peel-and-stick templates help ensure accurate installation.

4011 and 4111 Series Closers are handed and mounted hinge side; specify left or right handed. Tested for 10,000,000 cycles without failure. Powder-coated finish. Self-tapping/self-reaming screws, and peel-and-stick templates help ensure accurate installation.

4040XP Series Closers are nonhanded and mounted on top jambs on either right or left swinging doors. Tested for 10,000,000 cycles without failure. Powder-coated finish. Self-tapping/self-reaming screws, and peel-and-stick templates help ensure accurate installation.
